“The fair will provide access to experts discussing home heat pump systems, energy saving tips, and ways to reduce one’s carbon footprint,” according to Wendell Cerne, one of the fair’s organizers, chairman, Duxbury’s Alternative Energy Committee and a member of the Sustainable Duxbury Steering Committee. Cerne and David Amory, chairman of the town’s Coastal Resiliency Committee will be on hand to discuss Duxbury’s efforts on power aggregation and coastal resiliency. Janis Owens, co-chairperson of Sustainable Duxbury, will address ways to become involved in the environmental organization. Dealerships will have space to showcase EVs (electric vehicles) in the high school’s front parking lot.
